Hello friends,

Today was one of those running errands type of days where we both pretended to care about our appearance, when really, we just got out of our PJ's at 3pm. We slipped on clothes that we could still frolic around in, put on our makeup, and went to the park for a quick stroll before stocking up our fridge. Any time you put on a maxi skirt or jogger pants, add a cardigan and/or a nice tank top, you look put together, but feel just as free as if you were in sweat pants.

This is my first "big girl" perfume purchase and only second perfume bottle that I own. Sad, I know, but I'm working on it! I went into Sephora on a mission to find a perfume because 1) I needed more points (off to that VIB status), and 2) at the time I only owned 1 perfume and that is just sad. I was bummed after smelling so many and not falling in love with any. As I was about to leave, I saw this beautiful green bottle and had to try it out.

For those of you that don't know French, Google translate says the title of the perfume means "Rooftop Garden." Let me tell you, my friends, this is the perfect smell for me. It's fresh and slightly sweet. I feel like a walking garden... in the best way possible. The smell is perfect for Spring. I am writing this in my cubicle at 4pm, and I can still smell the perfume when I move my hair around (I sprayed it behind each ear).

Before buying this, I read reviews saying that people were disappointed in how long it lasts. I am perfectly happy with it. If I could still smell it as strongly as when I put it on this morning, I would go crazy. I think it wears off at a good pace and is definitely worth trying.

Today was that one weird winter day where it's hot enough for it to be perfectly okay to wear a flowy dress. To keep with the season, we both wore blue in our outfits, bringing back the chill that should be around in February. Everyone! Michelle turned 22!! Yes, she is feelin' like Taylor Swift! To celebrate, we dressed up to head out to a trendy restaurant, and of course, we had to have a fun photoshoot. We both went for the classy-yet-sassy look, because that's how you feel when you're turning 22, right? Again, please excuse Vivian's puffy face — she's still recovering from her wisdom teeth being pulled out! Happy birthday my dear, Michelle!

With the both of us working, it's been difficult to find time to hang out, even as roommates! We have to schedule girl time. But when we do, we always go all out (or at least attempt to). Today, we decided to have tea time at Lisa's Tea Treasures, a quaint tea shop located in Santana Row in San Jose, CA with the most delicious pastries and teas. Of course we went for cute and girly outfits to fit the occasion. Also, please excuse Vivian's puffy face — she just had all four of her wisdom teeth removed. But do notice how fly we both still look.

Hello world! We are Vivian and Michelle and we are beginning our escapade into the wonderful world of blogging about the things we love — fashion, makeup, recipes, and balancing that with our newly begun work lives!

We thought we'd start off with a cozy fall photo shoot highlighting the warmth of cranberry tones against the orange fallen leaves. This photoshoot was done in November when we began to brainstorm our blog ideas and although we are no longer in Fall, we think these looks are still perfect for the cold weather and the orange foliage. Vivian chose a simple look with a vivid cranberry lip, while Michelle went for a bold outfit and more muted lip. Details on what we are wearing are listed below. We hope you enjoy!
